Quick Read: Planning effective surveys and interviews for research or evaluation

25 June 2020

This month see the launch of our new course focused on supporting educators to experiment with and adopt new approaches in the computing classroom. Improving computing classroom practice through action research supports educators to embark upon an action research project trailing and evaluating new ideas. This quick read is one of two we're sharing this month to support educators designing their own research project.

Surveys and interviews are powerful tools for collecting data (usually qualitative) from participants. In this 2 page read we compare these similar approaches and highlight when each might be more appropriate.

Whether taking our online course (which you should) or not this Quick Read is a useful read. Whilst you're at it, go ahead and check out our previous Quick Reads here.

We really value your feedback and comments on our Quick Reads. Please take a couple of minutes to let us know your thoughts.
