We're delighted to launch our new spring term residential programme, which is available to book now! Designed to help you grow your computer science knowledge, we've got a range of training designed to suit different abilities and interests, whether you're looking to dust off the cobwebs or begin a new chapter in your career.
Upcoming residential courses
Residential CPD provides high-impact, intensive training within a classroom environment, where you can reflect and challenge yourself, network with other teachers and create action plans for the classroom.
Participate in CPD while taking advantage of the state-of-the-art facilities at the National STEM Learning Centre in York.

| 7 to 8 March 2022 | New to computing | Take the first step to increasing your subject knowledge with a supported introduction to computer science up to GCSE. |
What does the course include?
Attendees will receive overnight accommodation for each night of the training course (apart from the final day) as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bursaries are also available for teachers from state-funded schools and colleges and can be used to fund travel, supply cover, teaching equipment or further local CPD.
You can opt to book an extra night the day before or after the course starts at the centre's on-site accommodation at a discounted rate. Email the centre for further details, providing course booking information and confirming the night(s) you would like to stay.

Recently, several CSA residentials have run at the National STEM Learning Centre, and we've had some fantastic feedback.
