Discover our 2018 - 2022 impact report

20 January 2023

We're delighted to launch our annual impact report, which showcases how the NCCE has been working to drive forward computing education across England and our key achievements from the last four years.

The report is packed full of information about the impact of the work we've been doing and includes key statistics on engagement and reach, testimonies from teachers and students, and an overview of our future goals.

A huge thank you to the Department for Education, our partners, Arm, BT, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Nationwide and Rolls-Royce, and the teachers and school leaders, who have supported our ambition, and helped make it a reality in classrooms across the country.

What's next for the NCCE

As we look forward, building on the momentum of the first years of the NCCE will be key to continuing to grow computing in schools and remove barriers to achieving our vision - for every child in every school in England to have a world-leading computing education.

In the words of our Chair, Simon Peyton Jones:

With your support, we can do more to engage young people in the rich and exciting world of computation and information - particularly those most in need - giving them agency in the world and control over their future lives. Please join us!
