From KS3 to GCSE: assess student progress across the secondary curriculum

20 November 2019

Our full suite of Key Stage 3 and GCSE level subject knowledge assessments are now available, and are free for use by any teacher and their students.

The assessments, which are hosted on the popular Eedi platform, are aligned with the Key Stage 3 computing and GCSE computer science curricula, and cover a range of topics including algorithms, computer networks and programming. They are closely linked to the curriculum, and will help you prioritise access to the online and face-to-face CPD we offer for Key Stage 3 and 4.

Teachers across England are now using these tests to help evidence improvement in the subject knowledge of their students. Multiple choice tests are designed for pre and post teaching assessment,  making use of the tests can help to assess student progress easily and reliably, saving time and reducing workload.

Please note, when registering on Eedi, we recommend you use the same email address as on the teachcomputing site. This will enable us to connect these assessments as part of your engagement with the NCCE.
