Assessment of programming: exam-board specific courses
06 April 2022
Following the changes to the assessment of programming, the NCCE has realigned its Python Programming Constructs course to each of the GCSE awarding body specifications.
Whether your department is delivering GCSE Computer Science for OCR, AQA or the Pearson specification, each exam-board specific course will help enhance your understanding of how students will be expected to demonstrate their understanding in an exam context.
With the summer 2022 exams just around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to take your programming knowledge to the next level, developing your understanding how students will be expected to demonstrate their understanding in an exam context.
Discover courses:
- Python programming constructs: OCR specification
Linked to the OCR J277 specification, learn how to write code to input, process and output data, and how to manipulate data stored in variables. Using the building blocks of sequence, selection and iteration you’ll begin to understand how programs are constructed to perform a multitude of simple and more complex tasks. - Python programming constructs: AQA specification
Linked to the AQA 8525 specification, learn how to write code to input, process and output data, and how to manipulate data stored in variables. Using the building blocks of sequence, selection and iteration you’ll begin to understand how programs are constructed to perform a multitude of simple and more complex tasks. - Python programming constructs: Pearson specification
Linked to the Pearson 9-1 GCSE specification, learn how to write code to input, process and output data, and how to manipulate data stored in variables. Using the building blocks of sequence, selection and iteration you’ll begin to understand how programs are constructed to perform a multitude of simple and more complex tasks.
