Support for A Level students and teachers

23 January 2019

The Platform

Isaac Computer Science is our exciting new online learning platform that is being developed with our partners at the University of Cambridge, building on their highly successful Isaac Physics programme.

Isaac Computer Science will provide online learning materials for use in the classroom, to set as homework, and for revision sessions — all completely free. Our team of Computer Science teachers are writing resources that map to the A level specifications in England, focusing on the AQA and OCR exam boards. You’ll be able to learn something new or revise, and be confident that the content is high-quality and relevant.

Register your interest to get all the latest updates delivered to your inbox. You can also follow Isaac Computer Science on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Events

To support teachers with both A level Computer Science content and pedagogy, we will be offering CPD for teachers around the country through our Regional Development Partners and in school hubs.

In fact, our first 'Discovery' event in Cambridge is already live! Visit our Events Homepage to find out how to book.

A range of student workshops will also be available to help students with specific topics in the curriculum. Some aim to demystify the topic, while others provide extension material with support. There will also be larger events with inspirational speakers and activities to get students excited about computer science as a subject.
