What have other participants said?

Over the last academic year, we have run a number of residential events in York, and each one has resulted in much positive feedback. Here are some of the comments from participants:

  • The CPD was fantastic. We were so well looked after from the moment we arrived on site until the moment we left. There was a lot of information to take in, but the course facilitators were really experienced and knowledgeable about where the 'sticking points' usually are to help guide us through. It was great to network with other teachers and share experiences and be introduced to all the resources and ways of seeking advice and help.”
  • “Excellent residential - the subject knowledge was appropriate for my needs and nice being able to stay over and have two days dedicated to computer science. Very knowledgeable and approachable staff.”
  • “The session on computer systems was particularly useful and interesting. I discovered that this is a key area of development for myself as there are a few misconceptions that I need to address.”
  • “I found the vast array of different resources that were signposted very useful, and the course leader was extremely knowledgeable.”

In addition to our residential and intensive programme, we also offer an extensive selection of face to face, remote and online courses, which you can browse on our website.
